Scotland’s longest serving first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, is set to resign after eight years in office.
She is expected to give her resignation speech live at 12:00 CET from her official residence, Bute House, in Edinburgh.
Sturgeon took over as first minister from Alex Salmond, following the unsuccessful independence referendum of 2014.
